What about “I Am I Said?”

    If you’ll accept contractions:

    I’m A Viking
    I’m A Wheel
I’m All You Can Think About

  4. You are apparently a man who doesn’t mind repetition in his iTunes library. I suffer from the same problem – five different copies of I Am A Rock due to different albums, greatest hits collections, and live versions as an example.

What does the list for “I’m” look like?

    • Todd says:

The completist is always plagued by repetition. I think my current winner is “All Along the Watchtower.” Some of the copies listed above are cover versions.

      • If I remember my music trivia right, “All Along the Watchtower” is the most covered song of all time with some 300+ published versions. I can’t imagine how bad some of them must be.

I own something like fourteen different versions of Greensleeves, and it’s not like I’m trying to collect them! It’s just that EVERY SINGLE EARLY MUSIC ENSEMBLE EVER does it repeatedly…
